It is our goal at Bluworld to make your “Bluworld Experience” flow as smooth as possible. There are many aspects to water features construction that are not commonly known by most construction professionals because they are a specialty product. Bluworld provides a full range of resources for General Contractors that will help you better understand our product and what is entailed in the construction process. The sections below describe just some of the resources available to you from Bluworld. Call and speak to a Bluworld Water Feature Expert to hear about more helpful information available to make your water feature project a success.

Rough-In Info
As soon as Bluworld is commissioned on a project we will engage our engineering team to create a full set of specification drawings. Our drawings will include elevations, sections and details of the water feature and the surrounding structure. Our responsibility matrix will clearly call out the scope of work to be provided by Bluworld as well as other trades involved in providing services to the water feature area. All MEP information will be specified on the drawings. We have designed our systems to have as little critical coordination aspects between different trades as possible in order to avoid complications.
Often our clients will need preliminary rough-in information prior to actually being able to commission Bluworld on a project. In these cases Bluworld’s engineering department can provide utility memos and design narratives that can be used for rough in purposes. Contact your Bluworld Account Manager to discuss these complimentary services.

Budgeting and Value Engineering
We understand that budget is always a concern. Your Bluworld Account Manager will be able to provide you with preliminary budgetary numbers as needed at any stage of the process. Once a design is finalized, Bluworld will provide you with a formal detailed proposal.
In cases where the water feature is exceeding the budget, there are often opportunities to make some alterations in materials and components that will reduce the costs without compromising the overall design intent. Be sure to ask your Account Manager about potential value engineering options for your water feature if budget becomes a problem.

Filtration
A proper pumping and filtration system is vital to the success of a water feature. Bluworld has developed proprietary pumping and filtration systems designed specifically for water features. Our “Blu Box” touch screen control panel significantly reduces the maintenance required from end user, leading to happy clients and less customer service issues for you to deal with.
Infection control departments in healthcare facilities are particularly concerned with the cleanliness of water features in their buildings. Bluworld partnered with third party experts to produce the white paper entitled “Water Features in Healthcare Applications: Proper Design Guidelines to Meet Infection Control Requirements.” You can have confidence that a system designed by Bluworld will meet and exceed the expectations of your clients.

INSTALLATION SERVICES
At Bluworld, our goal is to provide turnkey solutions for our General Contractor clients. As much as possible, we endeavor to be a single source supplier for our water features. Bluworld Installation Services will send a team of expert water feature technicians to your job site to install your Bluworld Water Feature. Our technicians have extensive construction experience and will work closely with your on-site superintendent to ensure that the waterfall is installed correctly and safely.
